Pink background

Can you please help me to remove the pink background when
using the Internet with Windows XP Home Edition.

It is especially annoying in the address bar.

Also the font is not very clear.

I have managed to remove the pink everywhere else on the
computer but not when using the internet.

control panel
display
appearance tab
advanced button
scroll down to find other pink items.
