Pinging reminders!

I have responsibility for several peoples calendars. How can I stop
reminders created by other people from pinging on my PC, it's driving me mad.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to go into your calendar(s) and either open the
appointments (hopefully a whole series at a time) and uncheck the reminders
box, or you can disable the sound notification on the reminders...other than
that disable your system sound and it'll be a whole lot quieter.
