Does anybody know a good PIM, for To-Do's, Appointments, Contacts,
Reminders, etc?

So far I've tried Blackadder Organizer and SunEbook, but I couldn't
really get on with the look and feel of these programs.

What do you use? Please advise.

Thanks in advance,
Arjan

Palm Desktop. Works well and you do not need a Palm device to use it.
I have several that I have downloaded, but for my needs, this works the
best. From Palm's web site.

Did you hear the one about the dyslexic, agnostic, insomniac?
He would stay up late every night and wonder if there was a dog.

It's some time since I experimented with freeware PIMs.
Two of them are very powerful and still modern:

"Ecco".
Abandonware. Extremely powerful, but a steep learning curve.

"Day-timer Organizer" is another very good, but less demanding system.
Also abandonware, I think, but still very good. Excellent on search.

"Easynoter" is a more simple and less powerful alternative. This one was
still developed when I looked into it not so long ago.

Hmmm..... that's interesting as I do use FireFox1

can access "my" calendar" and make changes to it from ANY pc in the
world that has Net connection?

AFAIK this requires a webDav server. Is that still correct? Or am I
thinking of something else? Sunbird was a while ago for me.

Don't know..... cant answer that question John

All I know is that IREALLY like an online type PIM such as the Yahoo
calendar uses.

However.... Id like something without all the adds and pretty
comprehensive tho. The Yahoo pim does have a lot of ads, etc.

My "ideal" PIM would be a fast, comprehensive online one.... that
could also exchange data with a smart phone or PDA such as Palm or
HPC.

I don't currently have need to carry around a Palm or HPC unit......
but could see where I might someday. So the online version works well
enough for me at the moment.
