Pie graph not updating automatically

We have a file that has a number of graphs in it that the data is being
populated using VBA over 700 times. (making over 700 unique reports) We
have run into a random pie that does not display the data correctly until you
open the graph and then it updates it. (you can then close it) The pie shows
1/2 of the correct labels, but in the wrong positions, and the wrong
hatching. Any suggestions?
