Please, how can I link several hundred pictures into a
database creating a catelog without exceeding the size
limit of the database (2 GB). I thought if I linked the
pictures into a table the database would not grow,
unfortunately I was wrong. Please HELP!!!

Hi Jim,

sounds like that you have imported the pics instead of linking them.

In case you don't want to import the pics into the Access database, you could use a field with datatype 'Hyperlink' and enter the path and filename. Clicking on the link would open the appropriate programm for the file type.

Or if you want to store the pics in your database use instead fieldtype 'OLE Object' - but pay attention, this would raise the size of the database extremly depending on the size of the scanned doc.
