When I put pictures on my web site I store them in the "images" folder. When
I remove them does FP remove them from my local and remote site or do they
just fill up the folder?

I do not believe it does. A quick test would be to put an image on a page
and then save it. Now delete the image off the page and then navigate to the
images folder and see if it is still there.

When you have deleted it from the "images" folder on your
hard drive and Publish the site to the server, FP will ask
if you want to remove it from the server, respond accordingly.

If you delete the photo in images in your local web and then publish to server with the FP
extensions and with Change Page Only selected, FP should also delete the image off the remote site,
as long as both sites are in sync prior.

Images are files. FP does not remove files unless you tell FP to do so.
If you delete images from your local site, then publish using Changed Pages
Only, FP will offer to delete those images from the target site, but won't
do so until you agree.

if you remove them from page design all it really does is delete the link to the file on the server...the actual image file will remain in your Images folders...both online and on local...you have to remove them yerself.
