Pictures to Disc

Hey, I just put all of my pictures on disc however, I can't delete the pictures off of my hard drive because when I do and I bring up the pictures there's a large question mark over the pics. Anyone have any suggestions?? I'm at a loss. Thanks

Can you explain a little bit more? When you restart does the same thing happen?
