pictures in Word

can somebody help me?

whenever I copy and paste pictures from another programm
into Word, I can´t see these pictures. It´s a big problem
for me...

Will I have to change some settings???

I use Windows XP Home and Word 2000.

Check you setting in Tools>Options>View>Show. Uncheck Picture Placeholders.
