pictures/IE

On certain websites, using Internet Explorer, the
pictures will not show up. It will show the piece of
paper with a red X. It has never done this before, then a
few days ago it started to do that and I don't know why.
How can I fix it?

Not neccessarily software either - he could have a router
with a firewall built in. Also - if this is happening at
your work, you may have a proxy server that they set up to
guard the work computers.

Delete your Temporary Internet files, this may clear up
your problem.
