I am trying to download some pictures from my PC to SD card so I can show them on Digital Photo Frame. When I try this a message appears "the request could not be performed because of an I/O device error". I have no idea what this can any body help. My PC has a SD slot.

Are your drivers installed properly for the card device?

Go have a look to see if they are ok

START>SETTINGS>CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>HARDWARE>DEVICE MANAGER

Loook for any exclamation marks that would indicate a problem with devices

Instructions are written for XP as you have not given us anymore information

I have checked this and there is no exclamation mark. The thing is I can download pictures that I have taken with my camera with no problem. I am running Windows Vista, so is there other explaination for this
