Pictures embedded in e-mails

When someone sends me an e-mail with pictures embedded the pictures show up
as attachments. This has only started happening in the last week or so.

My outgoing mail is set up for HTML - not sure about incoming?

The format of the mails being received is important here not your outgoing.
When you doubleclick on an item to open it you can see in the Title Bar in
what format the message is.

Thanks for your help - I found the option I had checked for "reading mail as
plain text" - Would not have got there without you! Thanks again.
