Hello,
Have HP Pavilion mx703 with XP Home installed and had to do a
non-destructive recovery and a program that was installed previously will not
work.
Had Picture It 7.0 installed and now it will not open. Shortcut PIP is
on desktop & file is in programs but keep getting Application Error
(0x0000142) saying application failed to initalize properly. I used this
program often because I take photos for new members at our church choirs.
HP says it was not installed by them on the 703 computer. Have
previously purchased Windows 95, WIndows 97, Microsoft Office 97
Professional, Microsoft Office Small Business Edition, Windows 98 and it must
have been from one of those but for the life of me - I can't find it.
Can anyone assist me in figuring out how I have this product? I know I
did not purchase it separately as I do not have the disc. Had a Dell
Inspirion Laptop when I had the 97,98 editions. This is a mystery to me!!!!!
Thank you in advance - Elaine 135

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs applet. Scroll through
the alphabetical listing and see if Microsoft Picture It is listed. Version
7.0 is around 3 years old so it would not have been a component of
any of the products you list except the Small Business Edition.

No it isn't - did the restore remove it and if so - how do I find what
edition had it? No folder on discs listed it as Picture-It. Thanks
