Picture file assoc. setting to original

Is there a way to change the assoc. back to the original for xp.
Somehow the fill assoc. has been changed in, folder options. I had
uninstalled that program, but it won't revert to original, for .bmp, .jpeg.
Is there an easy way to change just those associations, If I restore in
folder options, it reverts to the last program, not the original windows
ones?

Hi Bruce,

If you want to use Picture Viewer as you photo viewer right click on a file
type such as jpg and select Open With - Choose Program - Windows Picture and
fax viewer (the default viewer for WinXP), then put a check mark in the box
next to "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file". The
next time you click on a jpg file it will open in Picture Viewer. Repeat the
same steps for all the image types you wish to view in Picture Viewer.
