picture attachments not opening

I have an aol account that but I use Windows Mail to read all of my mail. I
am not able to open picture attachment. When I click on the attachment, I
get no responce and the windows mail program freezes up and I have to restart
it. Help!!

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of them tend to cause
assorted problems in Windows Mail.
