never asked about this before.you know when you go to a web site and there
are photos.jpg and in the square.there are no photos.just little red blocks
with a red x in the upper left hand corner..why does this happen,how can you
fix it..

The photo placeholder normally indicates that the image is not available
- not your problem.

Or it is possible that your PC is not capable of displaying the image
type. When that occurs, in most cases, a prompt offers to install a
missing application or plugin.

I think you shouldn't post any pictures to any web site. Who needs to see
you with Sheep anyway?

That would generally mean the image is missing from the website; it's not a
Vista (or Windows generally) issue.
 
this happens to sites i go to now and then..just some times the photos dont
show..

It is often the fault of whoever put up the web site. Generally they
either forgot to upload the actual images to their site or they messed
up the URL so they aren't correctly pointed to. What you see is a
empty place holder. This is usually the case for common file types
like JPG. If the web site has a rare file type it could be your
browser isn't set up to know how to handle them. Next time you see one
right click on it to see it's properties. If it is a common file type
the first explanation is probably what's happening.
