Photos in ppt losing color quality

I am doing a slide show of photos only (1 per slide). I have the photos in
rgb jpg format. When I transfer the photo into the presentation the color is
washed out. Does anyone knnow how to fix tis? Thanks.

How are you adding the pictures? What version are you using?
