I couldn't find a newgroup for the subject so I'm asking here. I have a
Dell laptop with Windows XP home installed. I downloaded the subject
package and when I tried to install it I get the error message: Error
28000.Generic custom action error. I have found answers that say to make
changes to the register which I did but it didn't help. Anyone got any
ideas please.
TIA

What do you expect from free software from MS? For it to actually work?

That's is total bullsh*t. I have a "corp" edition install on my test
computer. I ran the validation tool as part of my testing, it failed,
and then I removed the validation tool components last week. I just ran
pstory.msi on it, it is installed and fully functional.

Why do you guys make things up?
