Photo Story 3 DVD capacity Problem?

I have made a great Photo Story and when I tried to convert it to a DVD using
Sonic/Roxio program The error message said that there was not enough space on
my new 4.7 GB. DVD. The story was only 60 mb. Is there a converson problem
that I am not considering? It also told me it might help to reduce the
number of slides in the story. How can I tell how many to reduce without
going through the whole long sequence many times ?

it's more about how long the story is, not the file size.... many starter
DVD making apps limit the video to 60 minutes.
