Does anyone know how to disable the Photo Printing Wizard within the Windows
Picture and Fax Image Viewer application? I know there is a way to do it,
but I don't know how. The user is running Windows XP Professional with SP1.

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Unregistering the associated .dll (shimgvw.dll) is not recommended. Instead,
simply associate the file types with a different default program or handler
(use something like Irfanview if you don't have something chosen already).

Does anyone have a solution for this? I really need to disable the printing
wizard - we have a client that uses Picture and Fax Viewer to view scanned
documents from their Oracle database, and they need to be able to print
quickly without stepping through the wizard. The viewer works well, and it
never used to launch the wizard. Could it be SP2? We don't want to remove
SP2 though.

Thanks
Raymond

Drop a shortcut to the printer in the users "Send To" folder and have
them use R-click, Send to, Printer.

Thanks a lot Bob, thats going to be an adequate workaround.

Thanks
Raymond
