photo gallery disappears when I put Pal Pal buttons on page

I have a website on which I sell my Slate Paintings.I tried to make a page
with photo galleries to show them but every time I put the Pay Pal buttons on
the page, it makes the gallery disappear. What am I doing wrong? I did this a
few months ago for my Fall slates and it worked except for the fact that I
could only get the buttons to line up in a column underneath the whole
gallery. If I can get it to work again, is there a way to make the buttons go
underneath each photo?

You can not insert the PayPal button with it the code generated by FP. The best option would be to
create a page using a table, then insert a thumbnail image into a cell, then in another cell either
below or beside enter the title and description, price, etc. and then you can insert the PayPal
button

Can you show us the page that worked and the one that didn't work. You
probably need to compare the code of those two pages. You might want to see
this resource for other better gallery possibilities:
http://www.eleanorstravels.com/PhotoGalleryPrograms/index.htm JAlbum is
excellent! Also with any other program you can control how the larger photos
look ... now in the top left hand corner ... that's very amateurish!

Eleanor,

She indicated on the page that work, it was places below the photo gallery, not within the photo
gallery area, which is what she really wants to do.

You can download a free or shareware store program that works much
better. One example is http://candypress.com/CPmain/default.asp

Well I gave up on the front Page album when I saw the J album. I manged to
get it on my website (I admit I really am an artist not a website manager but
I'm trying.)
Anyway here's a few more questions. I tried to make a "back" button,
because I found that after viewing the photos a customer would have to keep
pushing the back button of the browser, till they got to the first photo on
the album. I got the button to work but it divides the website in half, and
the side where I posted the "back" button goes back to the previous page like
I wanted but the other half where the larger photos are shown, stays on the
larger photo. How would I make the whole page go back?
I haven't tried yet, but should the Pay Pal buttons work if I post them on
the side of the page which have the enlarged versions of my photos?
Also I saw how to make the color of the background close to mine, but it
there a way to have the exact same background from my website? Thanks for
your help

I might concider using this if I can't make the Jalbum work. I want my
website to have a more personal touch and this looks more like a store.
I've saved it in my favorites in case I decide to go with it. Thanks

Sound like you are working with a frameset, if so that is a known limitation of using frames.

I was afaid that the answer would be somethoing like that. Would it work if I
put "back" buttons on the both the frame with the thumbnails and the one
with the enlarged photos?

If your using paypal I presume your selling something? If so why use Frames
... I also presume you want the site seen as much as possible .. frames are
not a good idea for anything but a discussion forum.

Which version are you using?

Move from frames/shared borders and the like and use includes for your menus
... the pages can look the same from page to page (see accessfp.net) and you
have a lot more control.

Let me know if you need more help.

Tina

Tip now out is: FrontPage has many uses. Do you know them all?
http://frontpage-tips.com/ - FrontPage Tips
They are primarily for FrontPage 2003 but will be good
for earlier versions too.
