photo galleries lost

I chose to use FP because of the photo gallery feature. My
host does have FP extensions installed and the site works
most of the time. A couple of month ago something happened
to the extensions and they had to reset mine. I lost all of
my photo galleries. The photos were all still there, but
the gallery functions were not. I decided I wanted to
revamp and redesigned the site. It just happened again and
I don't want to take the time to redesign. I would not have
noticed, but for the fact that I want to add more photos. I
don't want to have to individually format and install each
picture. Is there any way for me to get the photos on my
pages to revert to the gallery? Am I really going to have
to do it all over AGAIM? The first time I actually had full
descriptions of all the photos and I have not had the
chance yet to rewrite them. I do not need to have to take
the time to basically rebuild my site. Please tell me there
is a neat and tide way to fix this.

Working with the photo gallery feature is often and exercise in futility! I
