Photo editor or equivalent with Win XP

E

EAC

I need some type of photo editor, but when I load Office
2000, and the Photo Editor function, into XP, all I get
is a short cut...no executable program. I read somewhere
that Microsoft disables this, and has replaced it with
something in XP, but what?

Hello,

We don't disable the Photo Editor program on XP, don't worry. It's probably
just set as default to install on first run. If you dbl-click the shortcut,
does it get installed? You may need to run Office Setup, find the Photo
Editor program in the list and set it to "Run from my computer". That will
force it to be installed. If that doesn't help, you may want to post a
message on one of the Office newsgroups.
