Phone Numbers Outlook

I recently synced up my Outlook 2007 with my Palm Treo 600. The existing
database of contacts from Palm software was imported into Outlook.

Now whenever I open my contacts list and attempt to change or add a phone
number Outlook tries to dial the number. The program locks up and the only
way to get out is ctrl alt del. Any suggestions? I could go back to the Treo
calendar, but Outlook has better options. I have no problems with the
calendar features.

Thank you so much Diane. That is EXACTLY the answer. I have looked everywhere
and it was so simple. I was ready to give up on using Outlook and go back to
the Palm desktop. Thanks again.

Does it actually begin dialing or just bring up the phone and modem setup's
location dialog? You will need to set that for your location before you
can edit numbers in outlook.
