phone input masks right to left

When I create an input mask for a phone #, it always wants an area code. If
I sometimes want one and sometimes don't, is there a way to make the phone #s
that don't have zip codes right aligned in the cell leaving the area code
section blank?

try this

\(999") "999\-9999!

You can either put numbers in the space or not

Or
\(999") "000\-0000!
This would allow you to leave the 1st 3 digits blank but then require the
next 7.
