Phone Dialer

I have had DSL for two weeks. When I tried to use my phone dialer in
WindowsXP it knocks my DSL off line. I love using the dialer. Do I have to
give it up now that I have DSL or has someone figured out how to fix some
setting to have both.

Also I am not sure how to get back here. I have added it to my Favorites so
let's hope.
 
Why would you want to use dialup when you have DSL! If you want to use
dialup again you will need another phone line.
 
You need to install a line splitter and connect your old modem to
that. Set your dialler software to use that modem.
