Phantom typing in a text box "........."

Okay here's a weird one:

Have one user that when she is in Powerpoint on a rare occasion when she is
creating a new text box in a powerpoint slide, all of sudden typing starts
appearing in the text box. It starts off as ....... and then where the dots
were words will appear can be anything mostly gibberish, but english words
also.

No virus, no spyware (that I can detect), we're behind a rock solid firewall
that would light up like a christmas tree if someone had a remote connection
to the machine, besides it doesn't seem malicious when you do get a string of
words that are intelligable (like today) it was "leon at valentine" "Instruct
at AA E y"

The only thing I noticed in corralation with it was that she had hotmail
open as well, when I closed hotmail the typeing stopped (could just be
coincidence though)

Any thoughts

Thanks

I'm betting she has speech recognition turned on. There are a lot of reports
of "ghosts" and "gremlins" typing at random -- they're usually tied to the
speech recognition/speech input/"speech to text." (Although I'll readily
admit that I sometimes think that there really *are* ghosts and gremlins in
my machines!)

Thank You, I think that was EXACTLY it. The microphone was on and recording I
shut it off.
