Phantom embedded program

I have somehow acquired a bug that will only allow one particular home page to load when I log on...this is not so bad but it has also nominated 4 four porn sites as "favourites" of mine.

How do I rid my machine of this phantom embedded program and get back to The Sydney Morning Herald as my nominated home page

This isn't a 'bug' it's spyware - learn the difference. For removal see
www.safer-networking.org and download Spybot.

It is also a hijacker.

SpyBot kills those too.
