Phantom "blank" in mail

I am receiving email in my inbox but there is no content, no title no subject
just a date and time size is 326B and when I look at message options there
are no internet headers displayed.

I keep my in box cleared daily but these message appear intermtantly as if
uploaded in one go but have a differing delivery date and time as if they are
some kind of back-up or restore.

They are all blank - any ideas what they are or where they come from

They probably are malformed Junk E-mail messages. Just delete them.
If your Junk E-mail Filter is not filtering them out already, try setting it
to a higher level or create a rule;
-Move all messages to Junk E-mail folder
-Except when subject or body contain; a, e, i, o, u

I have the same blank message issue with the same 326B messages, except they
never show in my Inbox, but rather in my Deleted box. This has been going
on for about a month and I can't figure out where it comes from.

In order to help anyone reading this I upgraded from Norton 360 v3 to v4
about the time in question. My main mail account in Outlook 2007 is my MSN
account and comes via Qwest DSL.
