When I run Norton Anti-Virus, the program stalls at a file
"C:\documents and settings\owner\my documents\\\\\\\\\\\\\\blocked by
Phantom Administrator_files\\\\\\\\\\"

The exact number of backslashes in each position is may be incorrectly
stated.

This file does not appear in the directories. Windows XP SP2

I am the only user of this computer. This is a recent problem. "Trend
Micro Online Virus Scan" does not report a virus.

Hi Sue,

I have only seen the slashes due to correcting the OE Save Attachments bug.

You also mention SP2, which is currently in Beta.

If you're running SP2 then you have an illegal copy as it isn't available
for the public as yet and probably won't be until the middle of next year.

If you do have a leaked copy, then no wonder you have problems!

SP2 isnt out yet.

I believe Nortons has this problem with large folder names. Delete the user
and/or folder.

Thank for your response. I don't know about SP2 being in Beta. On my
"Add or Remove Programs" list, I have several XP Hotfixes that say
SP2. I've only updated Windows from the MS site.
