pfbackup.exe vs Export function

Hi,

I have been using the pfbackup.exe add-in with Outlook 2007 and note that
when I back up the folder it produces a folder that is about 70% of the size
of the back-up file produced via the File|Import and Export etc route. In
both cases I'm producing a pst file.

The question is why the difference? If the pfbackup add-in actually backing
up everything I want it to?

Regards

Exporting isn't a full backup; it will miss information like customs views,
custom forms, rules, Contact Activities and some other things.

pfbackup.exe duplicates your pst-file to your backup location and is an
exact copy of your information. You should use that instead of Export when
you want to create backups.
