Pesky Tray Icon

I was wondering how I can get rid of the Outlook Icon from my Tray but still
allow the envelope to appear when I get new emails? I'm running Oulook 2003
and I only want the icon that shows that tells me "a new email message has
just arrived" not the icon that says "Hey Outlook is Running and Here's proof
because there's this pesky Icon to show you."

If you are running Windows XP, then you can configure Windows to always hide
said icon. (r-click on taskbar and select properties. Under taskbar tab,
select the customize button at bottom.)
