Pesky lil' tool tips...

How do I get rid of those pesky little tool tips (alerts) that apperar on task-bar, like; "Wireless Network Connection Unavailable" (that one appears always when I'm using the laptop at home, with no WF available), etc. If it came only ones, I'd understand the info value of it it, but it keeps on popping up....

Hi Ari,

You can disable them by doing the following.

Go to:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp and download
the Windows XP PowerToy, TweakUI
After you install it, run it (Start - Run - TweakUI)
Click on Taskbar and then uncheck "Enable balloon tips"
Click Ok

Sadly, PowerToys will only work with US-English regional settings.... UNFAIR!!! =o(

Why the heck XP can't have the "balloon control" included?? Bill....??? anyone there at MS listening... Help! ;o)
