Personalized Mass Email

Is there a way to send an email to 200 people, but make it personalized
without sending to each individual person? I want sort of a mail merge as
you do in Word, but I can't think of way to do that in Outlook or how I could
possibly do it without the wrong letter going to the wrong email address.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks,

Word is the right tool for the job. Start the merge from Outlook's Contacts folder with the Tools | Mail Merge command.

But do I then have to email them separately? I know how to do it in Word if
I print them off, but if you mean I can send emails this way, I don't know
the procedure.

Why not just try a test for yourself? The dialog that comes up in Outlook and the merge tools in Word both quite clearly show email messages as an output, in addition to print.

I did end up getting this, but I didn't understand to use Word rather than
Outlook. I guess a little more information would have been helpful. I had
to research this on the internet to get pointed in the right direction.
