I created my own stationery from an original Outlook message and saved it.
One thing I want to fix on it is I want to make the Subject area a little
bigger, many of my staff would rather see the bulk of what I need in the
subject so they don't have to open it and many of them can't use the reading
pane because their screens are already full with ongoing work and they don't
need anything else cluttering up. I can go in and design THIS form, adjust
that box so it's a little bigger and save it, but when I open the new message
again, the changes aren't there. What have I done wrong?

Sorry, meant to say am using Outlook 2007.

Stationery is totally different from custom form design. And substituting a
custom form for the default message form, while possible (see
http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?ID=39), is not recommended. I'd
stick with what you already have.
