I upgraded from Outlook 2000 to 2003. My my pst file now hold duplicate
personal folders that update with eachother plus several empty contact
groups. Any idea how to clean this up?

Thanks.

Make sure you backup your data before proceeding. Also make sure that you
know what you are deleting. You can backup your PST file by simply copying
it to another location (with Outlook closed)

1. Backup your PST file (the one that you know has your mail in it)
2. Open Outlook
3. Click Tools then Options
4. Click Mail Setup tab.
5. Click Data Files button.
6. Select the personal folders entry that is the duplicate and click Remove
button.

As for the contact list duplicates:

1. In Outlook click Tools then Address Book
2. In the Address Book window click Tools then Options.
3. Click the contacts entry you want to delete and click Remove button.

Make sure you backup your data before
