Personal File not closed properly

Help!
Just started using Office 2007, and every time I open Outlook, I get the
message 'A personal file was not closed properly. Please wait while
Office/Outlook (can't remembers which) checks the file for errors.' As it
happens, the checking doesn't take that long, but it is very annoying to get
the message *every* time I start the darn thing. And I mean every, not just
after it has frozen or crashed or something.

Any ideas for getting it fixed would be gratefully received.
