Hi,
Due to a hanging application, I was forced to swith off power to my PC the
other day, instead of following the normal shutdown routine. Ever since, I am
faced with CHKDSK automatically scanning my D drive on every bootup. I
performs all three stages of scanning/checking, and reports no errors.
Is there a way in wich I can disable this persistent behaviour ? Perhaps
someone can explain why this happened, but more importantly offer some advice
to resolve the problem. Assistence will be much appreciated.
PS. I am a novice user, so some some detail may be required.
Kind regards
