Permissions

I am getting increasingly frustrated with the pemissions. Last time I asked
about this on this NG, I was told that I was probably trying to make a
change that I shouldn't make. I was not. I am not now. I own the computer
and I am trying to relocate files that I have created myself. The User
Accpount Control checkbox is unchecked. I can't believe this restriction
exists as default for the ordinary off-the-shelf computer. What can I do?

Either learn to use the OS, or learn to post the pertinent details of
any problem with which you want help.
