permissions

The administrator is logged on Windows2000 pro and when we
try to remove a device it tells us that were do not have
permission.But in the users the Administrator login is set
to administrator.

Any suggestions.

Make sure that you are logged on the local side of the
2000 Pro PC. You may already be doing this, but was not
sure if you were logging the domain side.

This computers is a stand alone computer. It is still
using dialup for the internet.
Any ideas?

Verify that the account is indeed an administrator account by viewing memebership of
the local administrators group. If still having a problem, see the link below on
restting security settings to default defined levels using secedit. You may first
want to try appending " /areas user_rights " to the command. --- Steve
