When you open MMC and look at any users properties when
you have advance feature checked, there is a "member of"
and a "security" tab. I am having a problem with
clairfying the diffrences of these two tabs. I just
upgraded our domain to Active Directory, and while I was
looking at permissions in the security tab I noticed all
my users are apart of the domain admin group. (Not good)!!
I cannot seem to find where the inheritance is coming
from. Im sure there is an artical on this somewhere can
someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

Hi Glenn, Members Of tab shows the Groups the particular account are an
member of.

Security tab shows the Security for the particular object in Active
Directory. This means you can for example delegate another users or groups
rights to this object. Then a such permission are assigned at the Security
Tab.
