permissions on second hard drive

Hello,

I am running XP pro with NTFS C & D drives. The PC is
setup with several user accounts, of which I am one
account as an administrator.

I have successfully made folders private, for my own
access, which are located on the C drive, however, I
cannot seem to achieve the same privacy for folders I
have placed on D drive. I am not provided the "private"
access option under properties for files located on D
drive.

Could someone help me with the following?

1. How to make folders private to my account that are
located on D drive.
2. Is it possible to make D drive totally private to my
account.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes you can make your D-drive for you only, on two different ways. One is to
change the permissions. (right click on D and then select properties /
Security). The other way is to use encryption. Just click on the properties
of the D-drive and select to encrypt this disk. Ony you will be able to use
the data on the disk.
