Hi,

What are the most secure permissions to have on your C:
partitions(any partitions) where regular users have access to apps and
thier profiles.

what about this.

users: read, execute on the partition
Administrators: full control
SYSTEM: Full control
Everyone: read

Users have full control of their own profiles

Thanks,

The following KB article is very close to what you propose. W2K default
settings on the root folder are too liberal in a default installation. I
usually use what you list, except I remove the everyone group entirely. I
understand that there may be reasons to leave the everyone group in for
legacy clients and applications. Regular users/everyone do not have the
ability to write which is much more secure. Of course administrator access
is only as secure as your passwords. --- Steve
