i used to have windows xp, but i bought a new comp and it has windows vista,
ive tried to import a video and manually create clips, but it says "clips
cant be created, because you do not have permission to change the video file"

what do i do?

I've not come across this one.
Firstly though, Vista has it's own newsgroup, this one is specifically for
XP.
Can you do it if you log in as admistrator?
Do you have a programme called folder lock installed?
Is the file in use elswhere? WMP?
What about the file type, wmv or dv-avi are the two most compatible file
types, others might not work so well.

i am the administrator, and i dont think i have folder lock, the file is an
avi, the file worked perfectly for the xp version, but for the vista version
it tells me i dont have permission to create clips. i couldnt find the vista
newsgroup, can u give it to me?
