Permanent removal of Flash

I don't want Macromedia Flash on my system anymore. It's
just too much of an annoyance. I can remove it using the
Flash removal tool, but some websites will automatically
install it again.

If I remove the Certificate from the Trusted Publishers
in Internet Options/Content, the Security Warning Window
comes up asking if it's safe to install it.

Unregistering the swflash.ocx file as someone posted here
does the same thing. I have to click "No" several times
per page on some websites to finally view the page.

How can I stop this Window from coming up every time.
Can I tell Internet Explorer to never trust Macromedia?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This doesn't answer your question as posed; but let me suggest another
alternative. Get the free TurnFlash from
http://riedersoft.ath.cx:85/~users/nirsoft/utils/tflash2.html
When this is running, you mearly click on the icon in your system tray
to toggle Flash on and off. You haven't removed anything so checks for
Flash components don't result with automatic installs. In the rare
circumstances when you might actually need Flash, you just single mouse
click to toggle it on. When done, click it off and you can browse
without the annoyance of Flash when you don't want it.
I choose not to have TurnFlash automatically load. Instead, I have a
simple batch file which, if I get online, I click, and my firewall
(ZoneAlarm), cookie manager (CookieWall), pop-up stopper (PopUp Killer),
and Flash eliminator (TurnFlash) are all launched before my phone
finishes dialing.
