Permanent Deletion

Hi, I am using Windows XP Professional and Office 2003. I have my mail
settings set to permanently delete deleted mail items every time I close down
Outlook. It always asks me if I am sure etc etc. Recently I received an
email from my isp saying my mailbox was full. When I checked via
mailweb.com, all the emails I thought had been permanently deleted were still
there. However, they do not show up in my deleted items in Outlook. This
is very annoying and is not something I have come across before - it usually
works so well! Thanks for any suggestions. Trish

Maybe there was an issue communicating the deletion from Outlook to the
server at one point leaving a slew of old items in your mailbox. If you
empty the mailbox using Mail2Web do items still end up undeleted?

Yes, it seems to work okay via Mail2web. Thanks Vince
