Permanent deletion of unwanted addition to favorites list

A porno site has begun adding itself, unbidden, onto my
favorites list. I have deleted it at least 30 times,
but after a few seconds, it reappears in the favorites.
I searched and found a cookie for this site. I deleted
the cookie. It still reappeared. I activated the
parental control on the Norton's thinking that would
prevent it, but, no, it still appears. I looked at the
programs listed in Zonealarm but couldn't determine if
this site was a part of any of them. So I
deleted/disabled all that I did not recognize. This site
still appears. So my question is how do I stop this
trash from adding itself to my favorites list and how do
I get it to stay removed?
