perl.exe oracle.exe and java.exe

I've got these processes on the subject line (task manager).
Aren't they really wield?
because java.exe and perl.exe don't have to be resident all the time. But
those processes are occupying 10M to 100MB of my RAM? Any comments are
welcome..
Are they just trojans or viruses?
Thanks
Jack

And also some of my programs are growing extremely large. My Nod32 occupies
30-40MB of my RAM... and this is fine because I installed it myself and is
believed to be that large. But some are unexplainable...
I've installed Oracle, but I don't think java.exe and perl.exe need to be
resident all the time....
Thanks
Jack

Now that they are shrinking to extremely small.
80K for PowerISO? 70% of my program go below 100K? Some registries are
called "Location Awareness" what are they?
Thanks

Java is for web pages.
Perl is a script language program.
Oracle is a database program.

All are valid programs that can run on a pc and are no trojans or
viruses.

That said I also should say that any .exe can be infected. So if you
have AV software and are not getting alarming notices, your fine.
