period is being deleted

I checked in Autocorrect and couldn't see anything, but every time I
put a numeral and follow it with a period in a cell, and then move
focus to another cell, the period following the numeral is deleted.

Anyone know how to fix this?

The period isn't needed unless you follow it with the decimal part of the number. If you want to
have a trailing decimal, (without any decimal values) simply format the cells for custom, using
0.
(that is a zero follow by a period) as the format string.
