Performance of XP with only 128 MB

Due to corruption problems with Windows ME and the fact
that I don't have the CD anymore, I'm thinking of buying
the full Windows XP and installing that from a clean
drive. Will it perform well with only 128 MB of RAM?
 
No, it will be slowed down and your hard drive will be using the Paging
File constantly. You need at least 256MB for it to operate smoothly.
