Performance of roaming progile in a small installation

We have a small installation of 15 workstation.

I want to put roaming profiles in local workstaions instead
of on server. So roaming profiles are updated from local disk
instead of from network.

Would that improve performance? As people mostly always using
same workstation.

I like to use roaming profile instead of local profile as
people can always get the their own profile, if happened they
logged in on other workstations.

I can backup those roaming profiles on workstation to server.

Do you mean you want to use one of your workstations as the profile "server"
? You should be able to do that, but I'm not sure what the advantage would
be...why would you not want it cached on the server?

Then it isn't really roaming. What's your intended purpose here?
